Melapik Cream

List of possible side effects that may occur when using Melapik Cream. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.

1. Pruritus

2. Erythema

3. Skin pain

4. Pharyngitis

5. Depigmentation

6. Skin irritation

7. Exogenous ochronosis

8. Hyper or hypopigmentation

Melapik Cream may interact with the following drugs and products:

* Sulfur

* Resorcinol

* Salicylic acid

Application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching and redness), Dry skin, Skin thinning, Acne.

Melapik Cream is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

The baby's skin should not come into direct contact with the treated area of skin. Water-miscible cream/gel is preferred as ointments may expose the baby to harmful effects of Melapik Cream via licking.
